Abstract:

ROHM's BM2P06xMF IC series integrates a 730 V Si MOSFET and a PWM controller in one package. By using these fly-back ICs, designers can achieve up to 45 W output power without any additional heatsink, discharge resistor or capacitor. They help designers to shorten design time, simplify the circuitry, reduce cost and increase reliability by offering an integrated design. These ICs are the best-in-class products and the right fit for industrial (auxiliary) power supplies, including industrial drives, home appliances, consumer products and server applications.

Rony Karim is responsible for factory automation and drives. He is an experienced power electronics engineer. Rony has worked for well-known semiconductor companies and held various engineering, sales & marketing positions within the semiconductor industry focusing on industrial drives, EVs and factory automation. He has completed a M.Sc. in electrical power engineering from RWTH Aachen University in 2011 and obtained an MBA in general management from HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management in cooperation with Harvard Business School in 2019.
